A vase in the Art Nouveau taste by Swedish artist and designer Alf Wallander (1864–1914) for renowned porcelain manufacturer Rörstrand, likely made around the turn of the twentieth century.
A stylized lobster in blue on white perches on each of the four corners of the vase, floating above swirling waves of water in slightly darker shades of blue. This decoration was achieved through transfer printing.
