A pyriform vase by French Art Nouveau ceramicist Georges Hoentschel, the vessel in an allover variegated brown and tan glaze with applied pear-shaped handles.
Two examples of this vase were prominently displayed in the Salle de la Ceramique at the Paris Exposition Universelle in 1900.
